Below are examples of a few of the volunteer positions that were needed for Wine about Winter 2013.

Champion:  Leads Co-Chair efforts and monitors big picture. Reports to Executive Director.

Co-Chairs: Leads and tracks all site-related projects.  Reports to Champion.

Event Porter: Walk full event site to empty garbage and fill wineries water pitchers.

Extra Tasting Sales:  Sell additional tasting tickets to guests. Customer service experience a plus.

Raffle Roamers: Roam designated areas of the event to both inform guests about raffle items & sell raffle tickets. This position is ideal for an individual who is comfortable with approaching others, making a sale, and being on their feet for approx. 2 ½ hrs. Sales experience a plus.

Wine Wall: Monitor the wine wall table and both inform guests about the wine wall concept & sell tickets.

Entrance Monitors: Monitor an assigned entrance to meet & greet guests, ensure that nobody leaves with open containers, and check that only guests, volunteers, and vendors enter the event.

Clean Up Team: Follow the direction of the Clean Up Lead to help tear down the event. Includes tasks such as taking down strung lights & wall décor, and decorations.

Training will be provided for all positions
