				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Be part of this amazing team! Coming off a wildly successful first year, the committee for 2014 has all the tools an event committee could desire, and the knowledge of how many people it takes to plan. Last year&#8217;s planning committee proved to be a supportive &amp; talented bunch; most all members are returning to the planning table, but, to make this year happen we need to grow the team.</p>
<p>The planning for the 2014 Wine about Winter will kick off as soon as all of the Co-Chair positions are filled. Please find position descriptions below.  Each Co-Chair position are intended to not take on too many individual tasks in able to manage their area as needed. Each bullet-pointed  pointed position below the Co-Chair represents a volunteer who is managing that aspect of the team&#8217;s tasks. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact HMS at 503-896-9211 or volunteer@hillsdalemainstreet.org.</p>
<p><strong><em>SITE CO-CHAIR</em></strong> - Leads and tracks all site-related projects.  Reports to Champion. Other Committee members working with the Site Co-Chair are managing:</p>
<ul>
<li><em>Rentals</em> - Manages rental company and all rental needs. Reports to Site Co-Chair.</li>
<li><em>Entertainment</em> - Manages live music/entertainment and equipment. Reports to Site Co-Chair.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>FUNDRAISING CO-CHAIR</em></strong> - Leads and tracks all fundraising-related projects.  Reports to Champion. Other Committee members working with the Fundraising Co-Chair are managing:</p>

<li><em>Ticket Administration</em> - Creates and implements ticket sales strategy and keep ticket records.  Reports to Fundraising Co-Chair.</li>
<li><em>Raffle/Wine Wall</em> - Pulls together a raffle of Hillsdale items and a wine wall. Reports to Fundraising Co-Chair</li>

<p><strong><em>VOLUNTEER CO-CHAIR</em></strong> - Leads and tracks all volunteer-related projects.  Reports to Champion.</p>

<strong>What’s it all about?</strong><br />
Over 30 SW Portland health &amp; wellness practitioners will come together in Hillsdale to celebrate shopping local, not only for goods and services, but for your health and wellness needs, too.</p>
<p>But wait…that’s not all!  This year’s Cinco de Mayo will be a party throughout Hillsdale!  On May 5<sup>th</sup>, between 3,000 and 5,000 people are expected to enjoy the opening of the Hillsdale Farmers’ Market summer season, piñatas and music at the Food Carts during the Grand Opening of Taco City, our newest food cart, amazing art and fun at the Reike Art Fair, and our very own bouncy houses and family-friendly events at Springfest. It will be a party not to miss!</p>

Be part of the fun! Please consider pitching in to show your Hillsdale pride &amp; support of our community! Two shifts are available on the 5<sup>th</sup>, and we’d greatly appreciate a hand with some light cleaning up on Monday morning. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thank you for your interest in participating in the Hillsdale Main Street  2<sup>nd</sup> Annual Springfest Health &amp; Wellness Fair.</p>
<p>This <span style="text-decoration: underline;">event drew over 3,200 attendees last year</span> providing participating business owners with valuable opportunities to interact face-to-face with potential new customers, clients and patients from the local community.</p>
<p>The event is scheduled for <strong>Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 10am – 2pm.</strong></p>
<p>Individual booth participants will need to be set-up by 9:30am.</p>
<p>This is also opening day of the summer season for Hillsdale Farmer’s Market.  Our event is held in close physical proximity allowing for convenient access for the crowds already in the area that day.</p>
<p>We have a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">very limited number</span> of booth spaces (approximately 25).</p>
<p>Participants are responsible for securing everything they want to have at their booth to include:</p>
<ul>
<li>“Tailgate” style tent (usually 10’ x 10’ and can be found at stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bi-Mart, etc)</li>
<li>Portable tables and folding chairs (can be found at stores like Costco)</li>
<li>Promotional materials</li>
<li>Sunblock and water for your team</li>
</ul>

<p>Note: Reservations are now closed for the 2013 Season.</p>

<p><strong>NOTE:</strong> Any business that submits a cancellation request in writing via email to Hillsdale Main Street Executive Director, Megan Braunsten (<a href="mailto:meganb@hillsdalemainstreet.org">meganb@hillsdalemainstreet.org</a>), at least 14 days prior to the event will also receive a full refund of the $100 deposit.</p>
