Wine About Winter – February 10, 2013
Hillsdale Main Street is pleased to announce Hillsdale’s inaugural wine and food pairing event: Wine About Winter. By the beginning of February, most Portlanders are just plain tired of the rain and the cold. Hillsdale wants to offer a reprieve from the dreariness of Portland winters, by providing a warm, cozy place for neighbors to get together around wine and food.
Golden Ticket Program - Nov.16th-Dec.31st 2012
Once again, we will be partnering with Multnomah Village on the Golden Ticket Program. It is a buy local holiday coupon program that runs through the holiday season. Basically, once you spend a certain amount in a participating store, you’re given a Golden Ticket. You can then take the Golden Ticket to any of the OTHER 40+ participating Hillsdale or Multnomah Village businesses, and you will receive a pre-defined deal – perhaps a percentage off of your purchase, or a free item with purchase, etc. The businesses choose their own deals and can change them as often as they like throughout the season.
Hillsdale Springfest Health & Wellness Fair - May 5, 2013
On the same day as the opening of the Summer Hillsdale Farmers Market, Springfest gives residents the opportunity to meet face to face with the myriad of health and wellness practitioners right here in Hillsdale. Are you shopping local, even with your doctor?
Movie in the Park – TBD 2013
Every summer, Hillsdale Main Street brings several movies to Dewitt Park. Stay tuned for what is showing in 2013!
Hillsdale Book Sale – July 28, 2013
The annual Hillsdale Book Sale is a fundraiser for Hillsdale Main Street’s parent organization, the Hillsdale Community Foundation. Historically it happens the same day as the Blueberry Pancake Breakfast, a customer appreciation event put on by the Hillsdale Business and Professional Association.
Hillsdale Paella Dinner – September 14, 2013
Hillsdale Main Street’s signature fundraiser, the Hillsdale Paella Dinner features Chef Greg Higgins cooking paella (as part of a four course meal) in a 52″ paella pan. Live music, dancing, and community make this event an annual event not to miss.
